Photo ID is enough for the free train rides; they are valid on local transport (S-Bahn and REX) within Carinthia. For long-distance trains (IC, ICE, Railjet) and trips across the state border, for example to Graz (from St. Paul), a separate ticket is needed. Bicycle transport is not included.

Nothing. As a guest at Ferienhaus Huber you get the card free from your first overnight stay, digital on your smartphone.
How do I get the Aktiv Card?
In two ways: either you apply for it yourself in advance via the region's form, filling it in with your booking details and receiving your access to the Aktiv Card and the REGIONSGUIDE by email. Or you receive it conveniently by email from us at check-in. Either way, the card is ready digitally on your smartphone.
Does the train really cover all of Carinthia?
Yes, throughout Carinthia, but only on local transport: all ÖBB S-Bahn lines and REX regional expresses within Carinthia are included, photo ID is enough. Not included are long-distance trains (IC, ICE, Railjet) and trips across the state border. For Graz in Styria you therefore need a separate ticket from St. Paul. Also, bicycle transport is not included.
How do I get to the guided programmes?
The over 30 activity programmes run from Monday to Sunday in the region's weekly programme. You will find an overview and registration on the official programme page, and we are happy to help you choose on site.
