Plus a washing machine and dryer, basic tools, rental bikes at the house, a fully equipped kitchen, towels, bed linen and free Wi-Fi. Without a car, the Postbus Shuttle takes you from the stop at the house to the Petzen valley station, Friday to Sunday seasonally with your bike.

By cable car to around 1,700 m: gentle high trails in the UNESCO Geopark Karawanken, the pram-friendly Zeitenweg around the mountain lake and views all the way to Slovenia.

Flow Trail, bike park & mine biking
The award-winning Flow Country Trail (over 10 km, around 1,500 metres of descent) and nine bike-park lines start up on the mountain. An insider tip: mine biking takes you through the old mining tunnels of the Petzen.

A marble run, panorama swing and an 18-hole disc golf course at the summit. The adventure mountain is made for children, just like our playground with ponies at home.

- How far is the Petzen valley station from the holiday home?
- The valley station of the Petzen cable car is around 6 km away, about 10 minutes by car. By bike the approach is a short climb, a good warm-up before the ride up.
- Can I take my mountain bike or e-bike up on the gondola?
- Yes, the cable car carries bikes uphill. For e-bikes with a removable battery, the battery is taken off for the ride up. Riding down in the gondola with your bike is not permitted; the way down is via the trails.
- How long and how demanding is the Flow Country Trail?
- At around 11 km it is one of the longest flow trails in Europe. It flows over berms and rollers on an even gradient and is easy to ride even for less experienced bikers.
- Is the bike park also suitable for children and beginners?
- Yes. In the valley there is a practice course and a dedicated Kids Natur Trail to try out. For skilled riders, more demanding lines such as the Petzen Thriller await.
- Where can I rent a bike or e-bike nearby?
- At GS Rad in St. Michael, a few minutes' drive from the house, you can get mountain bikes, e-bikes and children's bikes. At the valley station there are also a rental, a service station and a wash station.
- Is the holiday home set up for cycling guests?
- Yes. There is a lockable bike room, a free e-bike charging station and space to clean your bike after the tour. Several tours such as the 6-lakes tour start right at the door.
- Can I arrive with my own bike and without a car?
- Yes. Take the train to Bleiburg, from there the <a href="https://www.postbus.at/de/unsere-leistungen/postbus-shuttle/suedkaernten" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Postbus Shuttle Südkärnten</a> brings you with bike and luggage to the Ferienhaus Huber stop right at our house. Bike transport runs Friday to Sunday seasonally (8 to 18h, 5 € per bike) and is booked together with the ride in the app. The same works to the Petzen valley station: ride there and get picked up again with your bike.
