Flow Country Trail & MTB Zone bike park
At over 10 km and around 1,500 metres of descent, the Flow Country Trail is one of the longest flow trails in Europe and was named the best of its kind by the IMBA. Add nine bike-park runs and riding-technique courses, for children and beginners too. The cable car takes you and your bike to the start.

At the MTB Zone bike park, children learn to brake, corner and jump safely in dedicated riding-technique courses (children 8 to 12, juniors 13 to 16). For a first taste there is a kids' nature trail and a practice course, plus bike schools and private lessons on site. To the bike courses
To the valley station without a car
The Postbus Shuttle Südkärnten stops right at our house (Ferienhaus Huber stop) and runs on demand to the Petzen valley station, booked in the app, ideally early. Prams travel with you, and from Friday to Sunday seasonally your bike too, so you can ride there and get picked up again with your bike. As a backup, the GO-MOBIL takes you to your destination within the municipalities of Feistritz ob Bleiburg and Bleiburg, including Sundays and public holidays, tickets from €3.80 in advance. For that, a call is all it takes:
Right by the house you can lock your (e-)bikes securely, charge the battery for free and hire bikes, with a larger range at GS Rad in St. Michael (approx. 3.4 km).

At the top: Zeitenweg, ball run & wide views
In around 15 minutes the cable car floats up. At the top a gentle summit plateau awaits with a mountain lake, play stations and a panoramic view across the Jauntal all the way to Slovenia; with the Aktiv Card the up-and-down ride is reduced.

Right by the top station: a ball run, a panorama swing and space to play, with the wide view again and again in between.
Disc golf course
18 holes between larch forest and alpine meadows, free to play, fun for the whole family.
Summit hikes
From the Upper Petzen circular walk (around 7 km) to easy summit goals right from the top station.

Winter on the Petzen
In winter the home mountain becomes a manageable, fine ski area with wide runs and a clear view across the Jauntal.
