Holidays with children
Playground, ponies and a nature pond right by the house, the loveliest excursions with children just a few minutes away.
No programme needed: ponies, the nature pond and the playground are all right by the house, and all around there is nothing but meadows, forest and quiet. What that means in detail is shown by the three areas here, each with photos to browse.
Our two very patient ponies live right by the house and love visitors: petting and grooming are possible any time, and under an adult's supervision the children may ride too, with no schedule, as often as the holiday allows. Sheep and a goat graze on the surrounding meadows, and the house cats are happy to be stroked as well.
The fenced nature pond is the favourite spot of many little guests: from the wooden jetty you head out onto the water in the rowing or pedal boat, and the water slide sends you down with a loud splash, right into the fun. In between there is lazing in the hammock swing while the parents watch from the loungers. A garden house and a private WC right on the bank round off the pond day. Children at the water only ever under an adult's supervision, please.

The fenced playground fills whole afternoons: a slide, a climbing pyramid, a seesaw, a sandpit and a trampoline. Right in front of the house a swing and a spinning carousel wait as well, so the little ones are always in sight. On the private go-kart track the bigger ones do their laps, and on the house's own mini-golf course the whole family competes, clubs and balls you borrow from us for free.
The nicest part of the day often comes only in the evening: at the stone fire pit the swing grill hangs over the embers, and while sausages and steaks sizzle the children turn their bread on a stick over the fire. Firewood is ready, benches all around seat the whole family, and if you like you can fire up the big pizza oven too. That is how mild summer evenings become exactly the stories children remember for a long time.

From the climbing park by the lake to the cave in the mountain: these excursions go down best with children, and many are free or reduced with the Aktiv Card.
